  1. Eleven Days of Tanakachii, Part 8

November 9, 2009 by CJ Marsicano

Once thought lost thanks to copyright disputes between YouTube and Universal Music, the infamous video where the trailer to Reina’s Alo! Hello video from 2006 is was set to the equally infamous unedited version of Snoop Dogg/Akon song “I Wanna Love You” came back online a few months ago, once Universal stopped being so tightassed when it came to fair use of their recordings. I had put this together in iMovie in early 2007 just for shits and giggles, but when a couple of the lines in the song synced rather coincidentally well with the footage, I just had to put it up on YouTube. My YODC brother Langdon Alger loved it (I think Drifoy did as well) and another now-former contributor posted the video there, but one guy with little or no sense of humor got really upset when he took the clip at face value and posted in reaction, “Wow…you perverts…Reina in NO WAY a stripper of any type, and you guys are jackasses to associate someone like Reina with a [song] made? by Akon+Snoop Dogg.” For the record, I think it’s already been established here at SHSSF that even though I adore Reina, bedding her is another story entirely!.

  2. Eleven Days of Tanakachii, Part 7

I don’t know what happened to Drifoy, who used to run 100% Wonkyfied (which he moved from WordPress to a domain name that has since, regrettably, expired), but some of his OPV tributes to the Wonkylicious One still live on at YouTube, including this piece set to the English version of Edward Chun’s “Give My Love”. Drifoy, if you’re still out there, give your boy a holler!.

  3. Eleven Days of Tanakachii, Part 6

Sorry for being a couple of parts behind. I’ll be making it up in the next 24 hour period. In the meantime…

One of the few things that actually still survived the loss of MotokoAoyama.com v1.0 to an inept hair-metal drummer who is equally inept at running a webhosting service and a real estate company… a wallpaper I made of Her Royal Hotness back in the spring of 2006 on my (now defunct) Mac PowerBook G4, derived from a scan from her second photobook. (Clicking on the image will bring up the wallpaper in all its 1024×761 glory!) That would mean that this wallpaper has seen four different computers since then, including my computer at work and the laptop that originally replaced my Mac. Ironically, there’s a 13″ PowerBook to Reina’s left. In the years since this photo was taken and this wallpaper was made, computers have gotten cheaper and faster, and Reina has gotten prettier and sexier.

Hanachan drew up this pic of Her Royal Hotness for me in response to an art meme she posted on her blog recently. Hana said she had a lot of fun drawing it, now everyone can have fun looking at it.
